Yahoo announced that the connectivity issues seen a few weeks back have returned as of this morning. They are aware of the problem and are working to reslve the issues. Video in Email: The Race is On!

Are the lines blurring or am I just going cross-eyed? Google announced a number of Labs features that have been graduated out of the nursery test bed of gadgets and technologies into full blown live features available to users of the mail interface. Chief among these new odds and ends is the ability to embed YouTube videos that will play directly within the Gmail webmail client. Yahoo Connectivity Problems Return

Yahoo has issued a notice that the MTA connectivity problems have returned as of 6am this morning. Mailers should expect to see increased deferrals in the form off 420 and 421 errors. This problem arose last week and has subsided and returned before.

Yahoo! Connectivity Problems - All Clear!

This afternoon, Monday February 1st, Yahoo! posted an all-clear message on their Ymail Admin Yahoo! Groups page. They have seen steady connectivity and throughput levels on their MTAs and consider the problem resolved. The problems started last week, on January 26th and persisted for several days thereafter.

Goodmail Certified Email Update

Goodmail announced some important developments today surrounding their Certified Email Program. Verizon & Mail.com have added the Certified Email program and will now accept tokens. This addition extends the reach of the Certified Mail Program to include AOL, AT&T, BT, Comcast, MySpace, Road Runner & Telus. In addition to the new ISPs Goodmail has published a new case study with The Territory Ahead.

Deliverability Darwinism

It appears as though Yahoo! is having connectivity issues among their MTAs. A notice to that effect was posted today on the Yahoo! postmaster blog. According to Yahoo! the connectivity issues started early this morning and are generating the following error messages:
